FEARLESS ME!

So all of you who think I am still the LITTLE CHICKEN
I always was growing up...think again.

Diane took me rock-climbing to "conquer"

my fear of HEIGHTS.

And I did make it past the "free-style" line.

(Do you like our "child-care center"?)

NICE SNAKE???

While in Oregon this summer,

my nieces had a "Zany Zoo Pets" party for their birthdays

...and this big snake (albino boa constrictor?)

was part of the "entertainment."

I WAS THE ONLY ADULT

WHO WOULD HOLD THE SNAKE!

(ok...ignore the white-knuckled-fists...

I scored BIG points with my boys!)

So there you go...I am officially FEARLESS (mostly).

CAPE PERPETUA

This is where we went camping over Fourth of July

(no comments on my blog-speediness, now)

near Yachats, Oregon.

Every once in awhile Luke and Brendan surprise us.

(Luke was afraid of how high up we were

...where did he get that?)

The beach was like a forgein planet

...I don't think they EVER touched it!

Even though it was cold (60) & drizzly

...the boys LOVED camping at the beach!

WE MISS YOU!

Not that I didn't remember in April
...but Happy Anniversary...3 (1/2) YEARS!
We have so much fun playing with Aunt Dan-dan and Uncle Brandon...it's probably better you live so far away or we'd NEVER get anything done!
We are counting down the days until we see you again!
LOVE YOU! XO XO XO

THE SOLUTION

PROBLEM:
Little monsters who somehow manage
to get crumbs all over the house
(even though food belongs in the kitchen)
SOLUTION:
Bored little man who works for kisses & hugs
(don't tell Charlie)

PROCRASTINATION

So there are lots of things I should be doing right now...at nearly midnight... I have managed to procrastinate EVERYTHING today.

I'd like to offer a little thanks:

To my preschool kids for helping me have so much fun I needed a nap after school (which I didn't take), my two youngest (Luke and Dylan) for NOT taking naps this afternoon, my two oldest (Seth and Brendan) for having loads of homework (3rd & 1st grade!!???!!!), and Elder Rutt for being sick and coming to entertain us while we babysat you so the other missionaries could attend their appointments.
I REALLY APPRECIATE ALL OF YOU...SERIOUSLY.
AND, if anyone feels like coming back tomorrow so I can put off yet another day of house cleaning-bill paying-diaper changing boredom...FEEL FREE :)
(Ok...so the diapers still got changed today...that would just be wrong!)
